Notice to parents of SESID Science Technology Activity
亲爱的家长：
为丰富我们国际部孩子们的校园生活，加强培养孩子们创新精神和环保意识，提高孩子们科学素养，促使他们全面发展，结合我校国际部实际条件 ，我们诚邀您的孩子一起参加2016年5月SESID科技节活动中来。本届科技节活动我们将通过丰富多彩、动手动脑 、寓教于乐的科技教育和科普活动，弘扬科学精神，普及科学知识，引导孩子们从小传播环保科学思想、弘扬环保科学精神，增强他们的创新意识，培养他们的创造能力，大力普及环保科学技术知识和环保科学技能方法。科技节的宗旨是全员参与，现将活动告之，请多多鼓励您的孩子参与到活动中来。感谢您的支持和配合！
Dear Parents，
To enhance the campus life and enrich the creative and environmental
spirit and overall academic development of students in SESID, we warmly
welcome your child to participate in the SESID Science Festival. We will
have different activities to enhance their scientific awareness. The aim
of the science festival is to promote the full participation from all the
students in SESID.Please encourage your child to join us! Thanks for your
support and cooperation.
活动内容：
I.常规静态作品类项目:
本届科技节静态类作品比赛共四个项目，每位同学至少参加一项。
友情提示您：此部分内容，需要孩子们回家完成，最后带作品直接参与评选。
1.科幻画比赛
2.小发明、小论文比赛
3.“变废为宝”创意制作
4.纸折船创意制作赛
tips：
1．报名表格请到国际部网站下载
2．比赛报名表上交原则上截止时间是5月18日（最晚延迟至5月25日）。
作品上交截止时间为5月25日。
3. 作品及报名表（需要电子稿），请统一交于班主任。
The requirement of student’s work:
We have four activities in the competition,you must finish at least one
of them(reminder：you can have your works done at home, and take it to school for final selection)
1. science fiction painting competition
2. invention and thesis competition
3. creative new invention from the old materials
4. the boat folding competition
Tips
1. For the detailed participants requirement, please downloaded from
the website of SESID.
2. The deadline of handing the registered form is May 18th（no later
than May25th.
3. Please hand in the register form and your work to your class teacher .
