The World Expo is a large-scale, global, non-commercial Expo. It is holding
in Shanghai now. Expo aims to promote the exchange of ideas and development
of the world economy, culture, science and technology, and to allow
exhibitors to publicize and display their achievements and improve
international relationships.
The culture exchange between SESID and Norwood-Norfolk School just uses the
Expo as the first project. Our third graders talk about Shanghai EXPO 2010
in particular and their school life in the letter. They also make and send
the Expo invitation cards to sincerely invite Norwood-Norfolk School third
graders to visit the proud Shanghai Expo. In the process, the English
teachers play the role of the coordinator.
With the full support of school, the first project is well organized and
carried out. Our students are very excited. It not only gives them more
practice with the English language, but also a chance to meet new friends.
Thank Mrs. Du,Jeffrey and Alex Du's Mother, for the great effort and help on
this culture exchange.
Now we’re looking forward to hearing from Norwood-Norfolk School.
