2019年9月11日华灯初上，上实国际部浦西校区灯火通明，新学期家长会如期召开。每一学期伊始召开的家长会俨然已成为我们上实开学初的必做功课，旨在能在学期之初就将一学期学校的课程安排、教学要求、各项活动等方方面面和家长做沟通，以期更好地达到家校共育的目的。
On Sept.11th, parent’s meeting for the new semester
is held as scheduled, aiming to communicate with parents
in all aspects of the school life such as curriculum,
teaching requirements, activities and etc.
各班家长济济一堂，饶有兴致地观看了2018学年第二学期的校园“大事记”短片——《记录上实》，对上一学期学校开展的课程和活动有了更直观的认识；随后，家长们认真倾听了傅筠老师的新学期讲话，从中了解了新学年学校在课程建设、教学研修、安全护校、德育活动等方面的措施和要求。傅老师代表学校真诚地感谢家长多年来的大力配合和信任，也表示上实国际部将上下齐心，继续提升软实力，切实提高孩子们在学校的幸福指数，让每一个孩子都能在学校里快乐活动，每一天都有新的习得和收获；同时也将进一步开放办学理念，努力为上海的基础教育国际化做出上实国际的特色和贡献。
Parents gathered together to watch the Record of SESID
from last semester and they had a more intuitive understanding
of the courses and activities carried out. Then they listened
to Ms. Fu’s talk about curriculum building, teaching and
training, school safety, and moral education activities. On
behalf of the school, Ms. Fu sincerely thanked parents for
their cooperation and trust over the years, and also said
that we will work together to make a better school life for
the children. At the same time, we will strive to make
contributions to the internationalization of basic education
in Shanghai.
随后，各班任课老师就本学期年段目标、单元目标、预复习和作业规范等要求和家长做坦诚的沟通；外教老师分层级为家长做详细介绍，并在会后一对一接受家长的咨询；班主任老师则就班级文化建设、常规培养、家校合力等方面和爸爸妈妈们做了介绍。
Later, the subject teachers communicated with parents about
the semester goals, unit objectives, preview and review requirement.
Foreign teachers also met with parents and answered their questions
patiently. Homeroom teachers talked about the class culture building,
routine training, home and school joint efforts.
新学年家长会的顺利召开，也是整个学年学校工作开展的前期保障。希望2019新学年，上实国际部的孩子，不仅在学校学到知识，锻炼身体，结交朋友，也要走向社会，走进自然。衷心希望越来越多的家长能继续热心参与到学校工作中来，尽心参与到孩子的学习中来，为学校的建设建言献策。
