Recreate a Habitat Triarama Project G1 B-Class

In our recent project, first-grade students ventured into the exciting world of wild animals, exploring their habitats and homes. The project began with each student choosing their favorite wild animal and conducting research about it. They learned to identify key characteristics, where their animal lives, what it eats, and how it behaves. This inquiry-based approach encouraged students to ask questions, helping them develop a deeper understanding of the wildlife around them.

在我们近期开展的项目里,一年级的学生踏入了充满未知的野生动物世界,对各类野生动物的栖息环境与家园展开了深入探究。项目伊始,每位学生都挑选出自己最为心仪的野生动物,并围绕其展开一系列调研活动。他们逐步掌握了识别这些动物关键特征的方法,了解其生存的地理位置、食物来源以及独特的行为习性。这种以探究为导向的教学模式,有效激发了学生主动提问的热情,有力地推动他们对身边野生动物形成更为深刻且全面的认知与理解。

After gathering their research, students created triaramas—three-dimensional displays that brought their animal's habitat to life. With colored pencils, cutouts, and glue brought from home, they crafted colorful representations of their chosen animal’s environment. This hands-on activity not only allowed them to express their creativity but also helped them visualize the information they learned during their research, reinforcing their understanding in an engaging way.

 

在完成相关研究资料的收集工作之后,学生们开始制作三角立体模型。这些精美的三维展示作品,生动逼真地重现了动物们的栖息环境。他们利用从家里带来的彩色铅笔、各种剪纸以及胶水等材料,凭借自己的想象力和动手能力,为所选动物的生存环境构建出了一个个色彩绚丽、极具特色的立体场景。如此富有实践性的活动,不但给予了学生尽情挥洒创造力的广阔舞台,而且还促使他们把在研究期间所学到的知识信息以直观形象的方式呈现出来,通过这种充满趣味、极具吸引力的方式,进一步巩固和加深了他们对知识的理解与掌握程度。

 

Finally, we wrapped up the project with a collaborative activity where students shared their triarama creations with their classmates. They took turns presenting the process of making their triarama and teaching their peers about their animal’s habitat. This experience built their confidence in public speaking and encouraged teamwork as they learned from one another. Overall, this project was a wonderful opportunity for first graders to connect with nature, enhance their research and presentation skills, and showcase their hard work and enthusiasm for wildlife conservation.

最终,我们以一项合作交流活动为该项目圆满收官。活动中,学生们满怀热忱地与同窗分享自己亲手创作的三角模型佳作。他们依次轮流走上讲台,条理清晰地展示构建三角模型的每一个步骤与细节,同时生动形象地向同学们阐述所研究动物栖息地的独特之处。如此经历,极大地增强了他们在公开演讲时的自信心,并且有力地促进了团队协作精神的养成,因为在这一过程中,大家相互学习、彼此借鉴。总体而言,这个项目对于一年级学生而言,是一次难能可贵的契机,使他们得以亲近自然,有效提升了研究与表达能力,也充分彰显出他们为野生动物保护所付出的努力以及那份炽热的情怀。
