On the afternoon of November 22nd, students from grades three to five from Puxi Campus gathered in the auditorium. The arrival of Ms. Wu Sujuan, a gold-medal interpreter from the Cultural Promotion Department of the Dunhuang Research Institute, was like a gust of cultural breeze traveling through thousands of years, bringing a profound interpretation and a spiritual shock about the art of Dunhuang Grottoes to the teachers and students.
The lecture came to an end amid warm applause, but the cultural seeds that had been planted in students’ hearts were beginning to sprout. It enabled the students to appreciate the extraordinary charm of the art of Dunhuang Grottoes, ignited their enthusiasm for reading relevant cultural classics and exploring the mysteries of history. It is believed that the students will surely thrive under the nourishment of culture and contribute their own strength to the inheritance and development of culture.
