2890 2015年3月13日中午，小学部的阶梯教室里进行了一次别开生面的英语小馆长评选活动。此次评选由每个班级先推选出两位候选人，全校一共产生三十四位候选人。每位候选同学事先都做了精心地准备，早早写好了自我介绍并积极演练。他们个个都摩拳擦掌，准备大显身手。
竞选开始了，有的同学自信满满、胸有成竹，流利大方地向大家介绍自己；有的同学也许太紧张了，走上讲台时不知道说什么，但大家还是以热烈的掌声给予鼓励。竞选演讲后，老师和同学们将自己手中宝贵的选票投给了心中最棒的候选人。经过紧张的统计，最终，我当选了大馆长，高居优维和蔡翔雅当选副馆长。我们三人都得到了外教Sarah老师赠送的一本英文书《Secret Stuff》。
我感到非常快乐，也非常感谢老师和同学们给了我们这个宝贵的机会，可以为大家服务。我相信每一个上台竞选的同学都是最棒的，因为他们都有勇气、热情和一颗乐意为大家服务的心。
本周四中午将由三4班的两位小馆长Cindy和Amy为我们做英语绘本故事阅读分享，届时欢迎所有感兴趣的同学前来参加。

Self-introduction
Hello Everyone! I’m Terrence Lin from Class 1, Grade 2.
I like sports. My favorite game is basketball. I’m good at
shooting and dribbling. Playing basketball needs teamwork, so I
also learn how to pass the ball to my team members when necessary.
Michael Jordon is my idol. I hope one day I could fly and play
slam dunk like him. Another thing I really like is ping pang.
As a Chinese, I think it’s quite important to play it well.
Reading is also my hobby. The most interesting book I’ve read
is Harry Potter. If I could go to Hogwarts, there are three magic
things I’d like to learn. First, I would like to learn how to ride
on the broom. I wish I could glide as a Pteranodon. Next, I would
like to learn how to make magic medicines which can help people.
Finally, being invisible is also a wonderfulidea.
I love music too. I can play piano well. To tell you the truth,
I don’t like practicing piano, but I enjoy the music very much.
